An individual in which dioptase and amazonite coexist.

Dioptase was discovered in 1797 by the French mineralogist It is said to have been named by Rene Just Hahuy . 1797 was the Edo period in Japan and about 10 years after the French Revolution in France. At the time, chemical technology was not as advanced as it is today, and dioptase was thought to be an emerald. Therefore, it is said that this mineral, discovered in Kazakhstan, was presented to the Russian Emperor Paul as an emerald. After his subsequent research, Hahuy presented the difference between it and emerald to the academic community, and it was named dioptase.

This gemstone has a beautiful deep green color that is not inferior to emerald, and a transparent crystal. It is a gemstone that allows you to enjoy the natural colors that coexist with amazonite, like a painting.
